Financial statement to members – 2025

Pharmacists reassert their opposition to facilitated self-selection of P-medicines in PDA survey amid safety concerns

93% of respondents to the latest Pharmacists’ Defence Association (PDA) survey do not support allowing Pharmacy medicines (P medicines) to be available for so-called facilitated self-selection in community pharmacies. This coincides with national media coverage highlighting increased concerns about shoplifting and aggressive behaviour in pharmacies.
