The online workshop will cover what happens in the body and mind when stressed.
The workshop will cover:
- practices that can help with stress and the science behind these practices
- self-care and wellbeing
- relaxation and meditation
- sleep, relationships, and more, with a healthy dose of neuroscience thrown in.
Multiple surveys over the years have found that, for many pharmacists, the stress and pressures they face in the workplace have a hugely negative impact on their mental health and wellbeing. Therefore, the PDA believes it’s essential that workshops like this are available to all pharmacists.

‘An excellent session! It reminded me how important it is to look after our mental health and wellbeing.’
‘I used the breathing technique the following day whilst waiting 22 minutes on the phone to get through to speak to a GP about an excessive dose on a script. It helped hugely; I wouldn’t have thought to do that before attending this course.’
