• PDA calls on all pharmacists to unite in efforts to secure union recognition at Superdrug

  The PDA has called upon more than 39,000 members to unite with those at Superdrug to help the latest group of pharmacists to secure union recognition at their employer.

  In response to many requests from pharmacists employed at Superdrug, the PDA Union is attempting to secure trade union recognition at the company. This would include negotiating pay, terms and conditions, improving health and safety and addressing workplace issues. 

• Superdrug agree to PDA Union’s bargaining unit proposals

  A Central Arbitration Committee (CAC) hearing was cancelled after Superdrug management abandoned its efforts to exclude Senior Pharmacy Managers (SPM) from the bargaining unit proposed by the PDA.

  Last week the PDA hosted an event exclusively for pharmacists and trainee pharmacists working in Superdrug. The event was hosted following the PDA Union’s application for union recognition at Superdrug and aimed to help those in attendance understand more about how this can positively affect their working lives.
