PDA invites pharmacists to complete survey on the GPhC’s proposals relating to the SP and RP roles

The PDA is inviting pharmacists to take part in an important survey that will help shape the PDA’s response to current regulatory proposals affecting the role of the Superintendent Pharmacist (SP) and Responsible Pharmacists (RP).

Mon 23rd February 2026 The PDA

Pharmacists’ insights and experiences are vital to ensuring that their voices are fully represented in discussions that will shape the future of our profession.

The survey should take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Responses will be used to:

  • Inform the PDA’s official response to the consultation
  • Strengthen the evidence base that the PDA presents on behalf of the profession
  • Reflect and amplify the views of PDA members, ensuring decision‑makers hear directly from practising pharmacists

All input will help the PDA to advocate for safe, workable and professionally meaningful standards that recognise the realities of pharmacy practice.

Pharmacists are encouraged to take part and share the survey with colleagues who may also wish to contribute.

This survey will close at 5 pm on Monday 9 March 2026.

COMPLETE THE SURVEY TODAY

The PDA would like to thank respondents in advance for their time and for helping to ensure the voice of pharmacists is heard.

In addition to completing this survey, pharmacists are also encouraged to take part in the GPhC’s full public consultation. Completing both will ensure pharmacists’ views are heard directly by the regulator as well as through the PDA’s collective, evidence‑based submission.
