PDA Union joins NHS National Staff side and Joint National Council

The PDA is incredibly pleased to report that following an agreement with other NHS trade unions, the PDA Union has joined the NHS Staff Side which in turn allows the PDA to participate in the NHS National Joint Council, the body responsible for overseeing and agreeing changes to Agenda for Change (AfC).

PDA highlights government consultation ‘Change NHS’

The UK government is currently consulting the public and healthcare professionals on the future of the NHS which will help shape a 10-year health plan for England. The PDA will be responding to the ‘Change NHS’ consultation and is encouraging members to also share their views.

PDA responds to NHS pay announcement

The PDA welcomes the announcement from Chancellor Rachel Reeves that the recommendations of the NHS Pay Review Body (PRB) will be accepted in full, and pharmacists employed on NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions will receive a pay increase of 5.5%.
