PDA launches Brexit Medicines Survey

The focus on Brexit and its potential impact on the use of medicines by patients provides an opportunity for pharmacists to contemplate the current situation regarding medicines both from a supply and demand perspective. The PDA, as part of its membership of the government’s Brexit forum, provides advice on these subjects and as the likelihood of a ‘No Deal’ Brexit has recently increased, the PDA seeks the current views of frontline pharmacists.Please complete our short Brexit Medicines Survey by Friday 6 September 2019.

New online resource available to PDA members

The PDA is often asked for our views on the benefits of working for specific employers. To assist members in reaching their own conclusions, we have developed an online resource which contains pharmacy-related employment tribunal cases that we have become aware of. These employment tribunal judgements are publicly available documents, and some relate to employees other than pharmacists. Keep on eye on this section of the website as it will be regularly updated.

MORPh Training Events

MORPh run a number of training events across the country where expert speakers cover topics such as Management of Rosacea, Acne and Actinic Keratosis, Bone Health, Management of COPD and many others. These events are FREE and prioritised for Primary Care and GP Pharmacists.
