Introduction to being a PDA Rep – 7 July 2026

This online interactive workshop is for all PDA Representatives that have completed the online induction.

Tue 7th July 2026 (1:00pm - 2:30pm)

This workshop is designed to follow the self-directed reps induction programme and gives you the opportunity to meet other new reps. You will gain more of an understanding of the role and the rights of a trade union rep. You will also learn the importance of workplace policies and procedures.

This course is interactive. You will get the opportunity to work in small breakout groups, ask questions and respond in the group.

Pathway

Prior to this training, you will have completed the self-directed Reps induction course.

Following this training, you will be invited to undertake other live online workshops for reps, including ‘Confidence in meetings’ and ‘Conversations that count’. We also offer some sector-specific workshops for reps that your PDA organiser will advise you of. You will also be invited to the PDA reps 2-day face-to-face training in Birmingham.

There are also some PDA CPD courses that will help you develop your skills and knowledge both as a representative and as a pharmacist. This year, we are running courses on Neurodiversity, Allyship and Assertiveness.

To apply for any of the reps courses, please email [email protected]

Please note that this FREE course is for PDA members only. If you are not yet a PDA member and wish to join, you can do so below.
