PDA welcomes supermarkets’ policy to enforce wearing of face masks

PDA members working in supermarket pharmacies are welcoming news that the wearing of face masks will be compulsory for customers who do not have a medical exemption. All four major supermarket chains have announced that they will begin enforcing mask-wearing to help to keep staff and customers safe.

PDA urgently calls for zero-tolerance of violence in community pharmacy

Following member reports of an increase in violent behaviour in pharmacies, the PDA is once again calling on all pharmacy employers to enforce zero-tolerance of violence in every community pharmacy across the UK, with the policy being strictly enforced.
