  NAWP was founded in London on 15 June 1905 and has a proud history of supporting women pharmacists. From 1 January 2020, NAWP began a new chapter as a network of the Pharmacists' Defence Association (PDA). Below is an archive of newsletters and magazines from NAWP before it became a PDA network.

  The BEIS consulted on extending redundancy protection for women and new parents from 25 January to 5 April 2019. The PDA supports proposals for greater consistency of redundancy protection across pregnancy, maternity and for a short period following return to work to help tackle redundancy discrimination in the workplace.

  A key objective of the PDA Union is to tackle inequality at work and when we say that, we mean our constitution explicitly states that we exist to “promote equality for all and to eliminate all forms of harassment, prejudice and unfair discrimination…”
