This session will be a mixture of theory and practice which will allow students to build on their own experience of leadership, either as practitioners or aspiring leaders. Students will be supported in creating their own ideas about how they can develop their leadership skills and practice.

- What can you expect from Your Pre-Reg Year? – Indy Dehele, Lecturer, Birmingham University School of Pharmacy
An engaging presentation session on the key timescales and elements of your pre-reg year and how you can maximise the potential of your pre-reg experience. - Developing Your Leadership Practice Caroline Holmes – Co-Founder R.E.D. Learning Coop (Research, Education and Development for Social Change)
A two-hour interactive session will introduce student members and reps to some leadership theory and key leadership skills.
We will cover the following three themes:
– Exploring what students consider to be effective leadership skills and characteristics
– Analysing some key leadership theories and styles
– Identifying areas of personal leadership practice for development
